I saw them in 1974 and i was 18 years old. I sat on the floor with my east indian tie dye gawse shirt on smokeing hash from a callabash pipe , but i was not so stoned that i could not reconise true musicianship and unsurpased tallent. Every note played in the acoustic sets were flawless and thier vocals and harmony,and timeing were beyond perfect. Thier ballads told mysical storries of love and paradise and kept us all spell bound. They were truly the best duo of the age.

I remember summers at the pool, this would always come on the am radio someone brought..I would just lay there cloud staring and soaking all the 70's music in. My God take me back there and leave me.

Ah the Midnight Special! If I wasn't out with friends back in HS I would mello out and watch this show. Great memories of the 70"s.

This performance is simply great, better than the studio recording. Early 70s music has something spiritual, exhilarating one's heart and soul. There was the gold time of pop music when I spent my youth.

Today not only music but culture in general is spiritless.

But Spiritual Renaissance will be coming, I feel. Music will resurrect.
