@mashack12 - Read the quote "GM employs 209,000 people IN EVERY MAJOR REGION" Not "GM employs 209,000 people in Detroit" or "GM employs 209,000 people in Detroit and employs other people around the world. There are only 68,500 GM employees in the US total:

There is no source on the planet (at least a legitimate source) claiming GM has 4 million employees.

@mashack12 - 3) Regardless of who tacked it on the part about UE extension could have been made a standalone bill. It's very unlikely the Repubs would vote against UE benefit extensions on their own without any pork attached. It wouldn't be politically viable.

That its global employ around the world combined. It only employs about 65,000 in the US. Nothing in that quote claims that's what the corporate headquarters alone employs. Notice the comma after "in Detroit"?
