  • I love this guy. He's my favourite cabinet member by far. You can see from this video that he's going to integrate the role of science-advocate-in-chief in to the role of Secretary of Energy.

  • America is a place founded on the idea that everyone should have the right to live up to his or her God-giving potentials.

  • The farther you move the electricity, the more you lose. Superconductors could be used, but they'll require a fair bit of maintenance (cooling, notably).

    I'm very much in favour of a national smart grid, but not so we can send electricity from New York to California.

  • thinbk he is a good choice.. john holdren even better as science + tech boss.. both are of sound science people and as the greedy bunch go out these smart ones go in. thanks god. what a relief to finally have some competence in place . less bs and greed . more substance and reasoning. logic. halleluja...!!

  • global warming is a fraud. The earths tempeture is affected mostly by the sun not people. When the sun heats and cools so does the earth. Are the SUVs making saturn and mars hotter too? The earth is actually going into a cooling phase since the sun cooled.
