A Rube Goldberg machine is an apparatus that ties together a series of simple elements. This video shows Josh's version of a Rube Goldberg machine that strings together thirty moving parts using many household items and toys including legos, k'nex and marbles! His apparatus includes mechanical exchanges, electrical elements and even a chemical reaction. This three minute video begins with an explanation of the various elements, and ends with the actual run from April 22, 2011. Josh is home schooled and did this as a science class project. The intro music is from "Tron" by How It Should Have Ended and the credits music is "Tom Sawyer" by Rush. Please send questions, thoughts and feedback to feedback@eclectickasper.com.
