This is a tricky one; sychopate the bass rhythm and give it a little more swing and twang. It ain't easy; those double frills areessential to Hurt's playing. Walk that bass and you're good to go! sounds real nice Hard to play two guitars on one, lol!

Very nice. But you are missing something important from the original. Mississippi John Hurt repeats the simple lyric three times, but the undertone and mood are slightly different each time through. So the first time it is happy anticipation of a hot time, but by the last it is almost dread for when it's going to get really hot. It's an effective and very subtle use of the different meanings/implications of 'hot times.'
