2nd in that World Cup, maybe 1st in football history. A revolution for the game. They called it "total football", and that team was named "a clockwork orange". Football would never have been the same again. This is the road to Munich (goals are shown in chronological order):

2x0 vs Uruguay (2 Rep)
0x0 vs Sweden
4x1 vs Bulgaria (2 Neeskens, Rep, De Jong)
4x0 vs Argentina (2 Cruyiff, Krol, Rep)
2x0 vs East Germany (Neeskens, Rensenbrink)
2x0 vs Brazil (Neeskens, Cruyiff)
1x2 vs West Germany (Neeskens)

  • That bit at .033 sums it all up and is fantastic.....basically the whole dutch team is chasing down the ball and 6 of the Uruguayans are caught off-side.

  • Great vid... says so much!

  • i really want to watch a side, or better, play in a team that plays total football like this. and get the whole team to grow long hair thats even cooler hahah

  • @1000franco its probably worlds first offside traps you are watching here ;)

  • 3:47---> Barça

  • Was Rinus Michael crazy? min 0:32

  • Holland football is great, no doubt but it is like Ivan lend'ls tennis career of early 80s.

    he used to get to the final of major tournaments ending up second.

  • Cruyff the greatest football mind of all time! We can all thank him for todays modern football of the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal, Spain national team... He is the father!!
