Glass Engraving - Lead Crystal Vase - Lesley Pyke

"Roses de Noel" a Cumbria Crystal vase being hand engraved. Having been sketched on with a soft wax crayon, it is then engraved with a variety of stone, diamond and rubber burs, different grades, sizes and shapes, dry or with water, at varying speeds to attain all the depths and shades.

I also do glass carving using a sandblaster with a very fine tip. I agree people who don't work with glass carving have no idea the time it takes to do a project. Enjoyed your video!
