After 3 days of work I was able to complete the Arduino work and make it talk to MaxMSP. This feedback and stutter effect is pretty effective when using the back of the neck to turn it on and off in mid play.

    Hey man, the sensor on the neck was purchased through a company that makes adhesive sensors. After getting my hands on that I soldered it, mounted it, and was able to use the information it was outputting within Max4Live.
