Brian, you keep fighting. My oldest and only sister wasn't so lucky. Her 1st melanoma diagnosis was in 2000; then the monster re-surfaced in March of 2006. She had insurance but they were useless. Unfortunately, it took too long to get her into the clinical research system and she succumbed to the disease in June, 2006 at the age of 54. There isn't a day I don't think about what she went through those last few months. Please continue to tell your story so that others can celebrate life.

Brian, I saw you in the MD Anderson CT scan waiting room Tues. along with the Livestrong film crew. I asked them what they were doing and they told me about your story. I loved this clip and can't wait to see the next one and pray that you receive good news. The fact that you love baseball really tugs at my heart as my son Chance played high school baseball (Weimar Wildcats) and I missed a lot of his senior year due to being sick from chemo. God bless you, keep the faith and stay strong.

Brian, I am a stage IV melanoma survivor. I had it in my lungs, liver, lymph nodes, pelvis and bones. Hang in there. You must continue to believe that you will beat it, and you will. You are an inspiration to many. Fight on!
