I replaced the resonator on my 2005 Chevy TrailBlazer with a Flowmaster 40.

  • thats ugly as hell

  • @perrythekiller That's fine it fell off last night.

  • what i think is gay is that the chevy blazer is a smaller truck with a bigger motor

    trailblazer= 4.2

    blazer= 4.3

    and people wonder why the trailblazer is gutless.

    get an SS or just a normal blazer.

  • I don't think it is that much larger than a Chevy Blazer. The only difference in motors is that the 4.3 is a V6 and the 4.2 is an inline 6. If I waited one more year I could have gotten the SS instead. I would like to get a Tahoe, but I'm starting to like not having a payment every month. I have an S10 with a 4.3 and I think that is gutless.

    Thanks for the comment

    Peace

  • thats the ugliest thing i have ever seen.

  • TAKE IT OUT OF DRIVE AND PUT IT IN 3 FOR TOWING. GET RI OF THE STOCK AIR CLEANER AND GET A KIT OR ATLEAST A K$M FILTER.(JUST LIKE THE OLD VORTEC 4.3'S EASIEST WAY TO GET YOUR POWER AND MILAGE TO SUCK IS TO HAVE A OLD AIR FILTER. i ALSO USE FULL SYNTHETIC OIL WICH HELPS AND CHANGE YOUR FUEL FILTER AFTER 60K MILES AND JUST FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. ......LATERS

  • @lol123m

    4.3 only pulls about 230HP

    The 4.2l I6 pulls 275

    so its much more powerful and the torque pretty much matches the horsepower, I have a 2000 Zr2 S10

    and my wifes 2004 trailblazer ls smokes me getting on the freeway

  • @lol123m

    I6 4.2

    2003–2005 275 hp (205 kW), 275 ft·lbf (373 N·m)

    The blazers

    V6 4.3 only pulls 220hp

    Do your homework kid

  • @lol123m This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Look up the power numbers of the old 4.3 and put them against the power numbers of the 4.2. Not even close.

  • Why would you put a muffler where the resonator should be?

  • You should have took the stock muffeler off then it would have some tone

  • @TheAwolmind the syclone was rated at 280hp but ppl who put them on the dyno found they were more around 320hp. gm under rated them for insurance reasons. someone i know showed me the brochure of the one he bought new and it had its factory hp rating on it which was 280. as far as the 4.2 and 4.3, ppl look at the liters and think they know which one is better because of the slightly bigger 4.3 but the 4.2 runs amazingly well. its the strongest best running I6 ive driven. lousy mileage but fun.

  • I6 are pretty decent

  • @shwamaal trailvoy.com you'll find an answer to your trailblazer

  • man take that off looks wack put a electric cut out if you want to sound loud .4.3 just cant get that sound like 5.7 0r the 6.0 electric cut might give you a decent sound
