Bakkies is a great player, why does he have to do stuff like this?

Not sure if Kankowski didn't retaliate for disciplinary or personal welfare reasons, either way, he did the exact right thing.

That was actually some good rugby from the sharks. Keeping the ball..playing through the phases...yet they were 8th on the log hmm

Kanko played Bakkies like a fiddle there, and milked that penalty out of him. If you know anything about rugby, you'd know that refs give stiffer sanctions to players who retaliate. Kanko played it smart there
Bakkies needs to watch himself in open play. He can be the "enforcer" in the tight, but he mustn't do silly things like that in front of the ref. At least not when he's playing for the Boks
On the other hand, when he's playing for the Bulls he can give away all the penalties he likes
