Reviewing its relations with Russia, members of the US Congress have proposed dropping the Jackson-Vanik amendment brought in during the Cold War which limits trade with Russia.

The Russia immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union was a dream for the cabal that runs an empire called the USA. A country in near ruins, huge increases in HIV and mortality rates, most of the nation's intelligentsia emigrating to take up jobs at western firms, a new colony for western products.
