Very informative video as usual. I've been shooting for years and now I would like to save some money reloading. What do you think of selecting the Dillon XL-650 as my first reloading machine. I would like to reload 9mm, 40 cal and down the road .223. Generally speaking, how many empty casings is good to start with for reloading. I shoot every other week a couple hundred rounds. Great detail in your dillon videos. Your Gun Safe is like a party in a box ...whooo yeah!!

@johniac7078 i have a few boxs full of federal 45 acp brass and they take sm primers. have any clues as to why they switched to small primers?

@ipaintyou1 good question, i really dont know, but you can just use small primers and they fire just fine...maybe with modern powder the small primers work fine, but back in the day it may have needed a large primer to get the powder burning....just a guess.

@batt3687 9, 40 use small. 45 large. Then there are magnum primers.
