@ddjmfan totally agree, I love the two of them, and love the show. I was just wishing out loud - is almost like saing why did the show have to finish when it did, eventhough, the end was perfect. And as far as I can think of, this was been my favorite love story in tv. Loved Daphne from first line "... with my hand in the biscuit tin" :) - and I started to like Niles more and more as the show went on - I finished watching the show last week, and now I started to watch it again - a great show

@akurtula I will agree with you on that but I took what I could get. When it came to Niles and Daphne though, we didn't have to see them kissing all the time after they were married to know they loved each other. It would have been nice to see, yes but the fact they were together was enough to satisfy me. I did love the scene when Niles talks to Daphne's stomach after she confirms they are pregnant and the scene between them after David is born. Very sweet. They still had some cute scenes. :)

@ddjmfan of course, I agree. I liked the fact that they got together. but considering how much I loved sence like Moon dance and the first date (singing "heart and soul") it would have been fantastic to have had few more of them

@akurtula I do agree with you that after they got married, there wasn't as much romantic stuff but you could still tell how much they loved each other. I think the reason why that happened was once Niles and Daphne were married, and were happy the show focused on other aspects of the show. We knew they were together and happy, what more did we need? I mean they obviously had a very good sex life, they ended up having a baby. I did miss seeing it onscreen, but I was happy that they were together.

I do like them, I think they are very very important to the show (I love daphne) - but without the 6 years of niles secretly loving her they would not have got together, as individuals I love them - they are my favoriye characters - though did you notice that after the got married the sparks/magic/fun faded away - I would have thought once they got together, the romantic diners and DANCES would be more frequent

a clever show, because they are not compatible, the time it took for the two to get together, slightly justifies the reason why they got together

Daphne in real life would not look twice at Niles - she is an 8 or 9, he is (though a perfectly nice chap) a 5 at the most and he is modest enough to know it. This match is a mismatch which it is extremely difficult to believe in.
