"....gymnasiums and exercise machines, have you ever seen those things?" What makes this video more amusing, after you said that, is the list of suggested videos on the right of my screen entitled "How to use Gym Exercise Machines". I'm pretty sure speech recognition software is used to pick out key words for the suggested videos.

Great story, so well told.

@tenneral Thank you, I won't get one though! :) I'm starting work towards a PhD at the end of this month. I look forward to your next video, and I hope you have a good summer yourself.

Yes, please give us a tour of your garden sometime :)

Hi Michael. I've been working so hard recently that I haven't had time to watch videos, which is a shame, especially when I miss what's happening with my favourite YouTubers. Well done for climbing the tower. I am off this week, and time permitting, I'd like to try to climb the Boston Stump again, back in my hometown. If you don't know of it, do a quick google, and you'll see it's no small undertaking. It has 365 steps to the top! :-)

Quite amusing story and point well made! After over 20 years of exercise in the military, I am infrequently seized by the urge to exercise or go running, but I just lay down and the feeling soon passes.

liked and subbed. Wonderful story!

@geyser I agree, Geyser. If Tenneral were on this side of the pond, I'd invite him to every dinner party my partner and I have.

If you ever need some help with your garden (heavy lifting and so forth), just send me a PM!
My first job was gardening, right after my A-levels, made some good money; but VERY hard work!
Please keep up the videos!

@AtheismandSkepticism Many thanks. Your offer is v. kind and I'll bear it in mind for the autumn digging!

Judging by your tales and demeanor, you'd be an excellent dinner guest...

@geyser V. kind: I do seem to get plenty of invitations these days. I think they just want some old geezer who can fill in the conversational gaps with tales of the old days - i.e. anything before about 1965!
