I made this in a couple hours in my garage.

Written for AP English.

Lyrics

I never thought of myself as a transcendentalist
But I looked in the mirror and said, "I got this."
I did some studies, yeah, I read up on my Emerson
I had to question, what's the truth, and what's affection?

Well, this man taught me to hate authority
To be an individual and steer clear of conformity
What's the point if we can't get along?
This time I'm the only one that's thinking about this song

I don't need a singer to write me hit songs
I don't need a drummer to make the world dance along, and
So many people with so much to say,
I feel so much better when I'm by myself anyway

Thoreau went on a one man vacation
Became one with nature, his biggest inspiration
Society makes us one and the same
146 kids, we all share the same name
