They drift because the Tailrotor acts as a fan, pushing the helicopter sideways.

helicopters tend to drift left upon takeoff because of their torque, it is not something you should be correcting on the ground. However, adding right aileron should not make it go more left. check to see if ur servos are not reversed.

hi i alson own a cp pro upon liftoff it automatically goes left, when i move the trim one more click to the right it picks up the right skid before the left is this something i can fix or normal occurance??????????/

is you press the collective pitch switch will the blades spin and how does it work?

First, I assume you are talking about the Idle up switch? I recommend you unplug the motors anytime you are working on the helicopter. When you program the transmitter you can store different throttle and pitch curves. Then when you flip the idle up switch it will use the curves you programmed.

The people I talk to say that helicopters naturally tilt to the left during take off. Then when it is out of the ground wash it will level out.
Are you saying that when you add more right aileron trim the helicopter tilts more to the left?
