Sam Cooke- A Change Gonna Come CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT OBAMA!

I've had this video up for a lil while orginally singing it because it had deep meaning....now I know its meaning has become reality. Nov 4. 2008 had marked a day that has changed my life and millions of others forever. I think about my family...grandparents, and most importantly we as a country. I'm honored that the Lord had allowed me in my 19 yrs of life to see a ground breaking moment like this one, and as I write this I'm in tears. Tears of pure joy because I believe the youth today will grow up knowing they can overcome any forms of stereotypes, slander, and oppression. Thank you President Obama and thank you God...continue to bless our nation. A CHANGE HAS FINALLY COME!!!!

Change has come but aint shit changed too much, its actually a damn shame it took 40+ years. Don't be fooled and think that racism and injustice still isnt a problem today. Maybe in the bigger cities, but in states like Mississipi and Alabama you still got some ignorant MF's. And Im not even black or white, Im middlastern and Im muslim, but Ive always cut for Black people, South Dallas REpresent!!! YUH!

I generally dislike cover versions of songs because they just don't match up to the original version we fell in love with.

That said... I enjoyed this version. This song lends itself so well to true passion and artistic expression which is what Sing4Lyfe is doing here.

I dislike Obama but NOT because of race issues, simply his politics and dishonesty. I mention that due to the Congrats in the title. But I think the singer has done a great version of this song & I congratulate YOU, sir!
