Fairtax can't really collect 800 billion in sales tax FROM the government spending.
Nor can it really collect another 800 billion in sales tax from medical costs. People just will bitch and get exemptions on medical.
So in just two things (there are more) Fairtax is shy over 1/2 of what it needs.
So the Fairtax rate would have to be at least 46%, just on that.
Thats why studies have show a national sales tax would have to be 65% or more. Cause they don't like like FT does.

Sure Fairtax sounds great. Too bad the math is bullshit.
Fairtax math only works if pigs fly.
Fairtax is like saying 2+2=5, therefore I'm the pope.
Bullshit.
Smart man, I'd vote for you!
