In short, democracy is a fairy tale. The idea that the 'people', i.e. idiots like us, have any say whatever in the govt is a FANTASY. It was probably never true, certainly not in the last 100 years in the US. What is astounding is that we believe the fairy tale, and listen as the sages expound on the various aspects of the hoax as if it were real, like the fellow in this vid.

The federal government is in bed with large "everything." These large corporations and special interests make huge donations to both political parties. Both political parties bail out their contributors. This leaves us, as in "We, the people..." out in the cold or on the hook, however you want to look at it. It almost sounds like the mafia to me...kickbacks, payoffs, etc. In fact, I really don't know the difference. We have a "gangsta government" in place.
