Do you mean The Strokes look like Blondie? The Strokes started 25 years after Blondie but funny you should say that as The Strokes have sighted Blondie as a major influence. The song Last Nite by The Strokes the music is heavily borrowed from Blondie's 1979 multi million selling single Heart Of Glass.

Great leed guitar rolling riff by Frankie half way through this song. Totally underated awesome guitarist that never over cooked it and always left you wanting to hear more.

As everyone gets older they always say ' the music was so much better when we were young '...Im sorry to disappoint but music was great in the 50's,60's70's and 80's..It became lost in the 90's and 00's. violence is . Abba,Madonna and Blondie will be remembered as their music is timeless. Its says it now 25 to 35 years on! Who will remember Lady Gaga and NDubz?

The only posters i had on my wall were debbie harry and agnetha from abba as a young man.I think everything is now sold by sex and subtle and great beauty are long forgotten.They were a superb band blondie who wrote tremendous pop music and something the charts have long lost.Kim wilde i also thought was such and underrated artist and also a sublime beauty and a lovely person as well.The music of today reflects society and is all the worse for it.The youngsters dont know how lucky we were.
