In this "Very un-Official Guide", I show you what our first (short) day was like on our 5 day Caribbean Cruise on the Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Seas out of Port Canaveral. Also, pay attention for some helpful advice about the safety drill!

  • Please reply to this~ are you in an interior, ocean view, or balcony room? I'm getting a balcony and i thought it'd be nicer!!!

  • @ZoeIsPhsyco This was an ocean view room, which, as you can see behind me, is kind of pointless because as soon as the sun goes down you can't see anything out of the window anyways! On our second cruise, we went for an inside cabin because of that reason. Having a window is a totally unnecessary luxury. If you can afford a balcony, then go for it, because that is definitely the best option! However, I think all the balcony cabins on the Monarch have a somewhat obstructed view.

  • wow this is great! i have been looking all over for as detailed videos as this. im 15 and I'm going august 8th - 12 im so excited! but one question.. about how long are you off the ship during each stop (like at coco cay and nassau)? and what do at the stops?

  • @prettyxnadia You are going to have so much fun! This was our first cruise and before we left, I was like "What are we going to do all day?", but there is so much going on! Be sure to check out my other videos, (there is an extra video for Coco Cay and visiting Nassau). Coco Cay is like a tropical paradise right out of the movies. Write to me on the Facebook page and I can tell you more, ok? The address is in the video description above : )

  • Mr Obrien, Well it is count down to cruise we leave on Mar 28th just can't wait I've written you before . I did my count down to cruise . We decided to fly instead of driving to save our energy to enjoy our vacation..Please if you have any suggestions please leave me a message thank you ....

  • @sticks70462 The time will fly by! Make sure your passports are valid. Make sure your transportation from the airport to the harbor has your flight information. Make sure you put everything you might want for the first half day in your "carry on", and don't check that in while boarding in the harbor, (don't forget about the "liquids rule" in the airport). Don't forget to budget your "fun money" for drinks and tips and stuff. Don't forget to wear sunscreen : )
