For those of you who have stared past that pond next to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and gazed at that cave/hole in the rocks? A relaxing train ride called Nature's Wonderland that was there before Thunder Mountain used to come out of that whole across the pond, towards us and into the Big Thunder Mountain area before it made its way back in the station right about where Thunder's station is now. It would embark through the boarded up tunnel I show at the end of the video, and loop around a beautiful mountain with a waterfall on the side. Some of the track from that ride can be seen near the end of the River's of America tour on the Mark Twain. Also, on that tour you can see the holes where the train would come out from onto the river then back in towards the pond. This pond used to have bears fishing and relaxing as the train would cross over them on its track. the jumping fish elements are still here and I got them on camera. They run like every 15 seconds or so. You can read more on Nature's Wonderland in most Disneyland books they sell there.

  • There use to be a submarine kinda ride here in Florida when i was little but they shut it down. It was fun, it really did move around & u saw stuff under the water like mermaids.

  • @lolasolaful they still have it here at disneyland. although its been rethemed to finding nemo, but still has the same beginning where u are in a submarine and look at stuff under water in the lagoon b4 going in a cave

  • what are the moving things in the water? are they there on purpose?

also, does anyone know if there is a video of this ride??!

  • @danceoutloudbdt theyre animatronic fish jumping up outta the water. i dont believe theres on-ride footage of Nature's Wonderland but there is some old off-ride footage of it on utube

  • question where can i find this tunnel ?

  • @kogafan93 at the back corner of frontierland, next to and behind Big Thunder Mtn Railroad

  • wonders

  • It was a train ride sort of. Look up the disneyland opening day video. You can see it.

  • What ride is beneath the water?

  • @albinboy that's the end of that tunnel where the trees have overgrown covering up the tracks. Once u have exited that tunnel u would have came into Cascade Peak(a "mountain w/ waterfalls) (not there anymore) and would have came around to the tunnel that was shown first in this video.

  • @lalapink676 Natures Wonderland was a very awesome ride. Rainbow Cavern was blacklight and had blacklight pigments in the water/ waterfalls. In the vid above this was Bear Contury and had bears in the water hunting for fish among bears on land doing things.
