In this Gearwire video shot in our studios, we get to hear SSL's Fadi Hayak walk us through the output of the SSL G Series compressor. This single-space rack unit is positioned as a master-bus source of pixie-dust and we get to hear some admittedly squashable rawk source material pumped through it. We also get a tour of how the G Series' voltage-controlled amplifiers handle the problem of coloration consistency during signal fade-in and fade-out. Watch and listen to the G series in this Gearwire video.
LOL!

I only see videos from people which cannot use a compressor, always overcompression.

Guys, all the SSL compressor videos in youtube suck, but trust me, this is a beast compressor.

Complete waste of time. 2 reasons:
1) The demonstrator is concerned that people will actually hear what he's doing to the sound, so he's being "subtle". His overly-cautious settings do not help the viewers understand what the unit can do.
2) Demonstrating almost any audio effect at 240p on youtube is pointless.

@Beast1333 These are very common settings for this sort of mix (using the G series MBC). Also, it's a demonstration, a fast attack is better for showing off the compressors sonic characteristics.
