It's strange that there are quite a few comments about Morton Downey's voice. It shows that people just aren't used to a high tenor voice in popular music these days. I think Downey has a great voice; it reminds me of another great tenor voice of that era, Frank Williamson, who can be heard belting out Mona in a clip somewhere on YT. Dorothy Lee was incredible, the quintessential flapper, cute as a button.
