Went to the Joyo festival with my language school! We wore traditional festival outfits, carried a portable shrine and got a HELL of a lot of water splashed and thrown on us. Unfortunately I couldn't film it as I was carrying the shrine, but I hope the afternoon/night festival will suffice :)

Part1: Kinda... unexpected, yet adorable at the same time.
Part2: This was great. I could never get bored of taiko.
Part3: Was it the Kanji-shaped fireworks on the left? If yes, good thing you shared better captions of it on DS, indeed.
This kinda felt like this festival was taking place in a deserted area of the city until I noticed all the people walking behind the scene and the cars.
