This is a genius concept, really. I went back and watched the original Van Halen video, and some of the scenes are mimicked perfectly in anime-version ^_^

I first saw this at AX 2001 then downloaded it shortly thereafter as
soon as it became available. The creator's current web site is at
doki.ca Thousands of anime fans viewed the AMV contest at AX.
The kid at 2:32-2:42 would be 15 or 16ish by now! That scene got
the biggest cheer ever, I wonder if that kid knows how famous they
actual are. :-D
