@daveygrohlton15 I also needn’t remind you that the Argentine league - not just “some” league, but one of the best in the world - gave the Rams the likes of Horacio Carbonari and Luciano Zavagno – two solid, consistent, and well-disciplined performers for Derby in their day loved by the fans.

@daveygrohlton15 You dismiss Fuertes' prolific record in the Argentine Primera as something relative – merely a statistic. Yet I needn't remind you; you are playing down a man’s efforts in THE best football league outside of Europe, and still the 6th best in the world behind the Prem, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 (and that’s bearing in mind that most of Argentina’s best players are plying their trade in Europe.

@daveygrohlton15 Sorry mate but I have to ask what did he do off the pitch that was so condemnable? Usually, the Argie players in the English Leagues have conducted themselves very well both on and off the pitch. They've shown discipline and great professionalism. It's usually English tabloid filth that some people read that zero in on players in question, exaggerate things or start rumours about them, especially if it's a foreigner and in particular an Argentine one at that.

@ema19zila all I understand is that during his time at Derby, he not only played very poorly but conducted himself poorly off the pitch and had a ridiculously high salary (like all football players). Doesn't matter if he was good in some Argentine league. He couldn't get into a Premiership team, even a struggling team like Derby County. He could be as prolific as Pele in his home country but ti still doesn't change the fact that he was THE poorest signing Derby have ever made.
