The Miracle Worker - Part 1

The Strawberry Playhouse's production of "The Miracle Worker" directed by Lucille Fala-Brennan.

Twelve-year-old Helen Keller lived in a prison of silence and darkness. Deaf, blind, and mute, with no way to express herself or comprehend those around her, she flew into primal rages against anyone who tried to help her, fighting tooth and nail with a strength born of furious, unknowing despair.

Then Annie Sullivan came. Half-blind herself, but possessing an almost fanatical determination, she would begin a frightening and incredibly moving struggle to tame the wild girl no one could reach, and bring Helen into the world at last ...

What play are you doing now? After I finish directing "The Miracle Worker" I will be directing a teen drama I wrote. It goes on in July at a Fringe Festival.

@cblearn I'm currently in the middle of a production of the play "Red Herring" by Michael Hollinger! It's a really funny play about murder, communist spies, and marriage!

Thanks, Mike! I did some looking and found the music. It called "The Mission". I'm directing this play. I think I will use the same piece of music.

PS- Any plans to put 2nd half of play on? I've looked at almost every stage production on Youtube and Strawberry Players is the best in my opinion. I would love to see how they played the last scene where the miracle occurs.

@cblearn I had to leave for college and I have no way of getting the footage onto my laptop at the moment, but when I'm home again, I'm going to try to finish putting it up!

So look for more parts in by next month! It all depends on when I get done with the play that I'm working on now! And thanks for the compliment! We work really hard to bring quality entertainment to our community!

@mymoko1 Your sister is a good actress.She played helen with talent and is convincing.But i think helen's parents are not as convincing.Annie's actress is great in this drama too.
