We destroyed Japan? Last I checked, they still exist and are doing fine. I'm just wondering if you're aware how many millions upon millions of lives were spared because we dropped those two bombs. It was an immensely difficult decision but anyone who would prefer 10 million deaths to 1/40th that number is insane

When a soldier fights a soldier, this I could consider as a war.. but bombing? Bombing always will be a first class of terrorism and horrible crime.. the use atom bomb to ruin Hiroshima and Nagasaki is something indescribably horrifying.. any theories about an improbable or probable of the end of the war can't justify killing of hundred thousands of people, children, families who had nothing to do with the war.

We announced to Japan in our attempt to have them surrender, that in a case where they did not surrender, Immense destruction would follow. So yes, we did announce that. You cant attack civilians in war? Tell that to every country that has ever attacked America. 9/11, Pearl Harbor(many civilians were also killed). You would be a hypocrite to say that WE cant kill civilians in war, and not say the same thing about the opposing side. Not to mention, America can do what the fuck it wants. Piss off
