You have to be fucking kidding me. When in the hell did I ever say recent event of the United States have been positive? I've been exclusively speaking about these bombings the entire time! And for the record, the US of late is behaving the same as any other country in history who has ever held power, they are using it! Every world power in history has used the power that has been given to them. The country before the US was Britain, who at their peak controlled 1/5 of the world.

The US, in this case, chose the lesser of two evils. It was either be hated for driving the entire Japanese people to extinction, or be hated for bombing 2 cities and a small portion of their population.

If you had paid any attention to our debate at all, you'd know that I said MANY times that the Soviets are to credit for Germany's defeat. And countries don't listen to us just for our military, but also for our scientific output and impact factor (which is currently the largest in the world), we have the largest economy, and for our technology. But yes, our military is probably the main reason.

Btw the bombing of tokyo killed more than the Atomic bomb.
