@KydDragon I am actually familiar with that cheat, actually, that's typically what I've done before. this latest time I'm trying to go through without using the glitch. To see if I can do it.

@garceaj What you do is, start with as low of constitution as you can and put everything you can first into strength then dexterity. Choose magic arrow and do the glitch at the beginning to max out your constitution without leveling to give you more health at the start.

The game is cheating, so darn it, so am I! I'm currently playing it for the umpteenth time on experts only. I decided that the other levels were too easy after beating the game on each of them. One after another. So now I get lots more traps to disarm, and higher level monsters are showing up earlier than normal.
I found that one of the best ways to survive is put as many points into strength and dexterity as possible, and decide what to do from there. That got me through higher difficulties.
