Xotic AC Plus Booster

Its real name; is it Xotic Effects AC+ or Xotic Effects AC+ Booster? I don't know. But I do know that I like it. A lot. I feel this stomp has been a little unsung and I say that because I put out 'info and opinion please' requests on the HC and TGP boards and received no replies, not a cracker. So here's my take on it. Apologies for the bottom heavy ambience of the room sound. I'm using my MacBook Pro's inbuilt camera and mic to do these and they're good, but not great. I'll get some better equipment in the future.

Took it out of the box plugged it in and did not touch a knob or button and it sounded great! I have hundreds of pedals and this is right at the top of the heap for boost and distortion - Joe Stopka/ Chicago

Is it good for blues tones like BB King, and overdrive like Pink floyd too ? i want an overdrive able to play low gain crunchy smooth bluesy tones and great Pink Floyd sounds or ZZ TOP sounds, Popa Chubby too.... thanks great video

@Burgerman666 Hm, really? I think it's the best demo ever. You go through the range of the knobs, which most don't, and the sound quality is decent enough to get a "telephone" idea at least [ie, like how you hear things over a telephone, but don't really get an idea of the feel, etc and isnt as good as hearing it first hand through a stereo], so very nice job.

This thing cost as much as a Radial tonebone and the price is close to the Effectrode as well, I would get the tube preamps that I mentioned before I got this thing
