Probably one of Charley Pride's most under-rated songs. It appeared on his '10th Album' and then to my knowledge was never re-released. This is a conversion from the original vinyl, hope you enjoy it.

  • great song. its a disservice to post those lame images in a slide show...wth?

  • @funny31000 I agree about the images, it was the first video I posted. If you have seen the other Charley Pride songs I have posted you will see that I have not repeated the error.

  • Another request, do you have A Shoulder To Cry On? Surely one of his best.

  • @procfan Sorry if I sound prude, but I will only post songs that to my knowledge are not currently available on CD or other forms. So generally I'm only posting old vinyl conversions. A Shoulder to Cry On can be found on a number of his albums - "I'm Just Me" and his compilation "Legendary Charley Pride" and probably others.

    Regards, Steve

  • I had this album some years ago... lent it out.... gone......

It has some great tracks on it......

Do you have his song - "This is my year for Mexico?"

    Thanks

  • @pyrofella

Yes, I have it. Will try and get around to putting that one on for you.

  • I was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer on April 22,2011. Today is the best I've felt for sometime. I remember mom and dad playing this song when I was a kid and for obvious reasons,it really hits home

  • @2609stevell Thanks for the heads up. I have only heard it twice and wanted to give another listen.

  • Thanks for putting Charley's up on Youtube....... Hoping to find songs from his 70's albums Sunshiny Day, Sweet Country and Amazing Love up here someday soon

  • what a fantastic man, and wonderful voice. I have loved all his songs for the past 25 years or more.
