@tnycman OK I should have been clearer here ... 740i uses the N54, which was used in the previous models of 535/335. The new/current 135/335/535 uses the N55. BMW decided to go with the N54 as they had more experience tuning this engine (which I think is general knowledge in the BMW community as well).
Here's from C&D
"In the 740, the aforementioned N54 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six is uprated from its previous 335i application by more boost, to the tune of 10.2 maximum psi."
@arvelos76 Brabus now also tune BMW engines? I though they used to be Mercedes tuners only? You should have gone with ESS, then you could have used your M3 engine and still get up to 775hp out of it.
@tnycman From owning BMW's for last 25 years, as well as reading Automotive history / information. Here is the complete list : N54B30 - comes in 4 performance levels 1) NA 254hp (Asia only) 2) TT 306hp (335i) 3) TT 335hp (1M) 4) TT 370hp (740i) E60 535i E82 135i F01 730i F01 740i X6 xDrive35i Z4 sDrive35i E92 335is E82 1M Coupe
@FrozenBlaze Yes I have had a LOT of BMW's ... and if you can waste your time commenting on my comment being a comment for a 1 year old comment ... wow ... (but yeah, my point was to limit confusion ... : My 325i M-tech was a 2.3L ... not 2.5L, 328i back then was a 2.5L ... so it's a long time since BMW matched model with displacement in deciliters.) (i.e. 740 and 535 have the same engine, just tuned a bit more in the 740).
135i = 3.0 litre twin turbo, thus named as 135i/3.5l.
Got any of those cars for real? Post a video. If you have even one of them, then you surely have more than enough money to afford a decent camera or record a video with your cellphone, which MOST surely does have a built-in camera. And if you have time to look up and reply to a year old comment on YouTube, then you have time to record a simple video too.

@andrewgsupbrah No, only 2002 (from 1974), 1M (2011), M3 F80 (2014) (TBD) and M5 F10 (2012) have not been NA in the 30 year+ history of M's.
