This is the most intense live recording I've ever heard in my life. What a thrill!

I everyone! I found a live Broadway version of "The Music That Makes Me Dance"! If you check my favorites, it's in there.

This IS a recording from 1965, but it's NOT in London. This must have been her last New York performance, because, according to Barbra herself, she broke down and cried when she sang People for the last time on Broadway, and she does that here. This must be a recording from her last show, which was on December 26th, 1965. After the final bows, Streisand also payed a tribute to Fanny Brice and Funny Girl by singing My Man for the first (and only) time at the Winter Garden Theatre.

Wow, the first time I ever heard gettting her so emotional she's not able to sing anymore.
Thank you so much Michael for sharing:-)

wow, yeah i'd read that she broke down during this final performance and always wanted to hear it knowing the emotion would be raw and hearing it, is a completely different kettle of fish i didn't realise that while she is singing this i'd also be in tears listening to it!!!!!!!!!!!

Supposedly she found out on opening night in London. So she had to leave the show sooner than she had agreed to.

This was around the time Barbra found out she was pregnant with Jason wasn't it?
Thanks, Michael! I love it. Do you have a live Broadway or London version of "The Music That Makes Me Dance"? Thanks for posting this rare gem!
