Entrance to Sugarloaf Mountain - RIM BlackBerry 8120

Research in Motion's BlackBerry 8120 includes video recording capabilities as well as a two megapixel camera phone WiFi. It is not yet available in the United States, but it will be soon.

This brief video, with narration, is near the entrance to Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson, Md. There's a small lake and the leaves on the trees are changing.

I am not impressed with the 8120's video recording capabilities, although higher resolution videos look just fine on the phone's screen.

When I shoot camera phone videos I hold the phone with two hands and hold it very steady.

the quality its kinda bad

You are correct. The quality is terrible. I have written about this in my camera phone weblog and other places. This is not a phone I'd recommend for taking videos.

I got the phone from Research in Motion.  I'm a wireless data consultant and test a variety of phones.
