Very nice interpretation - It's great!!!!!
-
I added a D-G alternation during verses because, if you listen to Paul's syncopated bass-line in those parts, he's crossing through notes between those two chords, so I thought (as he maybe did) that this way might add some dynamism to a single-guitar version. Remarks, questions and your close listening appreciated!

@mraybeck totally agree..... keep the 'D'!!! Great cover though.....
-
Why are you throwing those G chords in on the verses, just stay on the D, as it should be. Otherwise a pretty good Interpretation, rater than a copy.

@Zntii Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed it---The chords are pretty simple, D major (which contains the main guitar-riff's front end); then Eminor, then G. Another verse---and the middle 8 bars are Bminor, and "diminish" the upper octave note in it down through Bminor7th. From there to Emajor....G....Eminor....G, A, and back to the scaling-riff in D.....Hope that helps!

No "other" than normal tuning scheme---and thanks to someone so enthusiastic himself about the Beatles' achievements
