@cejaman...with the way modern comics are made (over printed and on high quality paper), it's kinda potluck...cause, they seem to last forever now, haha...but if you're collecting for worth...get older comics, newer comics' variants (still kinda potluck though) and get some comics signed if you can...but like i tell newcomers at my comicshop...read what you like, and if you're collecting for worth...get 70's and earlier and anything after that...get first appearances or special issues...

@TWOMERCY I would not call him the most famous GL because most people don't even know his name, they call him the black GL. And since the movie came out everyone thinks of Hal Jordan and they at least know little about him.

i was REALLY happy to see Hal in the issue, because you know Hal will eventually become Green Lantern again .........eventually!

Actually, some or most (if not all) new readers would recognize Sinestro.

The character has appeared in other media before for them and anyone

else to see and/or know about him.

Ex. Superman: TAS, JL, JLU, Batman: TBaTB, etc.

I'd say the most famous and familiar GL to the public is John Stewart. Eveyone thikns the main GL is black.
