This is to me, one of the best vampire movies ever made. And this is my favorite movie that was based on the book I Am Legend.

I bought a DVD for 5 bucks that has 15 horror movies on it, many cheesy, but a few great flicks like Night of the Living Dead, House on Haunted Hill, and this one. I know with Night of the Living Dead, the distributor failed to secure a copyright for the new title of the film (originally it was Night of the Flesh Eaters), so it's public domain and anyone can get it cheap or free. I haven't seen this one yet, but I know it will not disappoint since it fed Romero's ideas. Best 5 dollar investment.

they are vampires but clearly they act like zombies, like in the later Romero movies. I think this is the first zombie movie.

I love all the adaptations of I am Legend, although I have to say the Omega Man is my favorite.
