It's like she's in a womb of computers and wires. Freaky.

That's a very shallow view.

yea yeah!

Guess I just don't like interpretive stuff, because thats just an excuse for terrible things to have a badge of honour. take modern art for example, a 4 year old hand painting a random correlation of colours on paper. someone can interpret that as good for what it symbolises, even though the supossed art is just a muddle of colours.
-
It's interpretive, I'm not even sure what you don't get

you could still pull that effect off with better presentation. I understood the anime pretty well, but I still feel like it was a half assed-done series, even if it is kinda old. You haven't really detailed why I'm wrong about their lack of presentation, and just explained what they showed to me.

It's all about using more than just general thought, they used a lot of psychology such as the collective unconscious which is a concept everyone understands they just dont know it

the way the anime is presented kind of makes it hard to understand, there are usualy awkward transitions and silences that go on for too long, and lack of BGM lacks as much atmosphere as clear cut animes do. Also when I was watching, I found myself clicking back to check information again because it kind of throws it at you in one big pile instead of evening it out throughout the series and making new revelations as startling as they could have been.

This is on of the best endings I've seen.

Lain is about the most basic concept of humanity, I don't see why people don't understand it
Elfen Lied came like 6 years after lain.

I love Lain, do you believe in love at first sight ? I sure do.
Nonetheless, Touching ending.
