@fandaal Not in space it doesn't, it tends to not have much of an effect do to lack of a medium to transfer the force.

I feel so god damn sorry for that Starfury pilot at 1:25. He keeps shooting the Thirdspace ship again and again and again resulting in maybe just tickling it. Its gonna kill him and he's got time to think about it. Poor bugger.

@Fbueller129 The 3rdspace aliens must have anticipated there would be some sort of fight so send in a small number to check the defenses. If they had sent in the bulk of their fleet, there was a chance they could be ambushed and lose almost everything or be stranded. No matter how powerful they are, they would still, without reinforcements and a base of operations, be slowly whittled to nothing. They were beaten back before so there is no reason it could not have anticipated it happening again.

For a race that was just sitting there waiting for the door to be opened they didn't send all that many fighters. They should have blotted out the stars with ships. That is kinda what you are supposed to do with a first wave, overwhelm the defenses.

@Fbueller129 i agree, but they beleived themselves to be unstoppable so they probably didnt send much because they werent anticipating such a defence.
