I take remicade also, but unlike you, I take it for 6hours because I'm allergic to it. Also before remicad eI get twice as much benedryl and steroids.... lifes unfair to us chronies huh?

it's better than the 100% chance of being deathly ill with crohns your whole life. and for SURE needing surgeries to remove damage intestine. you do need to way out your options, but Remicade has been a big blessing in my life-so far. i wouldn't change that for anything :)

thats why i wont take it...
all it runs in my family...
i dont need more risks for it..

what a lucky kid!! i was doin remicade infusions but they wud take 5 hours to get the whole dose & 2 hours to get to the hospital. remicade is the BEST treatment i have ever had, but got a horrible rash from briers & the doctors said it was from remicade (i kno it wasnt) & they took me off ): GOOD LUCK!
