ye i didnt like sonic 2 for the master system either, on the black master system 2 there is sonic the hedgehog and on the 2 toned grey/black master system 2 there is alex kidd in miracle world goin from what i have

I know this is a really old video. Just thought i'd mention the Game gear doesn't display more colours than the Master system. It just have a larger palette to choose from.

Still only 32 on screen (which compared to the Nes or Gameboy is still LOADS)

Ya this seems much better than sonic the hedgehog 2 on the GG. I hate the first boss in that game with the little unpredictable balls. Great video

I have this game on the Sonic Mega Collection plus for the PC but I use the emulator because the controller doesnt work on the PC version for some reason.

Sonic 2 GG is a crap if you compare it to Sonic 2 from the Genesis, but even being inferior in many ways, it's a good game. I have the old reviews of the game when it came out (Sonic 2 GG) and they were slighty inferior to Sonic 1 GG but right above the rest of the games released on that time in the ranking. It's not so bad, the big problem was the first boss, to difficult to GG and the problem that if you dont have 6 emeralds you dont see the last stage
