Koolu's new Google Phone running Andriod Cupcake OS on the OpenMoko FreeRunner Open Source Hardware phone. More to come. Please watch www.Koolu.com for more news and information
Neo FreeRunner comes in GSM 850 (Triband 850/1800/1900 MHz) and GSM 900 (Triband 900/1800/1900 MHz) variants. It is an unlocked GSM phone, and you need to provide your own SIM card. It is known to work on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S.
does the openmoko neo free runner work as a phone now or do you have to program it yourself? If it does operate as a phone then what network do they use? Pardon my ignorance in this subject?
