anyone with half a brain could easily make one of these pendulum stabilisers.....basically just a long stick with a weight on the bottom and a swivel handle to hold it all!...anyone who pays so much for one like this needs their head examining!

@krushalot99 Personally I'd buy another quick release plate and base , attach the base to the head of the Glidecam, and getting the exact same quick-release plate from manfrotto :)

@krushalot99 I'd ask Glidecam or ask your nearest supplier - the video just shows a screw plate.

i got a question....so i just purchased a manfrotto tripod with my t2i. How can i switch from tripod to the glidecam or vice versa? or would i have to put the quick release plate on again for the glidecam???
