Splawn pre-production Quick Rod - FX loop volume trick

Splawn pre-production Quickrod, using the Marshall trannies, and chassis. 3 channels, just like a 1st generation Quickrod, tons of gain. This sample, as usual, was done at very low volume, with a hint of reverb through the FX loop. Master volume is at 9:00, and the volume is lowered via the Alesis Nanoverb's volume, aka, the FX Loop Trick!

No, it was a Splawn amp, and Splawn happened to use Marshall transformers in their early versions of Quick Rods.

Yeah, modification by Splawn! It's a monster for sure. A must for classic 80's tone!

Not sure about using the FX loop for guitar rig. I just stuck an old Nanoverb in and lowered the volume for basement playing!
