Torture Test - Lifeproof Case Vs. Rocky Creek - Review

I'm reviewing the LifeProof iPhone 4 case and putting it to the test. Can it survive a current beating it into rocks?

I've been using the case for a while now. I've only had 2 problems. The first is the volume. Having the case on seems to reduce the volume to the ear speaker. I just use the headphones to work around this issue. The second has to do with overheating. When I film outside and it's hot, the phone starts overheating and shutting down. Just something to be aware of, it hasn't caused any damage to the phone, just an inconvenience. Other than those 2 workable problems, it has protected the phone from water and falls many times already. Overall I'm still happy with this case and would still recommend it to others.

how did you attach the string to it?

@minifast8807 I used a similar method to trussing meat i.e. lots of loops and knots. I've since built an aluminum tripod mount for the phone that has a loop built-in, I realized how easy I could loose the phone when I threw it for that video.

The first gen lifeproof case the screen thing does affect typing cause u have to press down harder cause its a loose pocket of air jus press it against ur chest BUT the bew 2nd gen case for iphone 4/4s doesnt have any problems with the screen its a perfect case

@vulcan045 I had to do the little scrape modification to my case when I upgraded from 4 to 4s. I haven't used the "official" 4s case yet.

It's very good I have one for my 4s it's stronger than a otterbox defender mines done very good
