  • do you have 'hell comes to your house II' I remeber havin both of em when I was a kid this is what turned me on to .45 Grave and Social D. I loved this record

  • @openupyourearsdammit I send u a message!

  • I believe they had a single out on Posh Boy before this, and were on a Thermidor comp called The Future Looks Bright. This was recorded before those were?

  • @AriannaTgirl This compilation was released in 1981. VA ''The Future Looks Bright '' in the same year...I'm not sure what is older.Also...in 1981, SD released their first single...hmmm...

  • @valter67bia I bought them all as they were released in my early teens. I'm pretty sure I'm right - not trying to be a wise ass. Great song, regardless. I've been listening to it for 30 yrs. :-) I'd love to hear more of the more punk songs from Hell Comes to your House on YouTube. I'm not much into Christian Death. I never liked them.

  • @AriannaTgirl yessssssss, great song, regardless....And I love them a lot. Other songs from Hell Comes i will upload when I have time.Christian play different music, ok, ''dark bit'' :))In principle, this is a great compilation, and this song is a favorite for me :)

  • This Comp got me into L.A. Deathrock way back in the day.

  • My best friend back in the day bought this record and I bought The Future Looks Bright record, I still have mine. Not sure which one came out first though.

  • Had this record in highschool when it came out. Good Halloween rock. Sold it for $5 in an antique shop years ago. Saw it was $500 on Ebay. Ha.

  • @valter67bia

"The Future Looks Bright" indeed came out in '81 on Posh Boy and included Social Distortion, Channel 3, T.S.O.L., and others.... I actually found a copy of it on cassette in a very small church-run thrift store outside of Fargo, ND a few years ago. When I went to the cashier with only the one cassette she said "oh don't even worry, just take it" =)

  • first & best...!
