The oil cooler leaks either coolant or oil (or both). It won't affect the performance of the car unless it fails completely and oil and coolant mix together. If you have a coolant leak around the alternator, it's the oil cooler.
Lots of work but a cheap fix parts wise.

Looks tuff.
Is this like the oil cooler with that small radiator or in this is inside or part of the engine.?
If so the external one Was it worth the installation? Did you notice any difference?
Is the engine running smooth or struggling. What's about the oil pump n pressure. Is there like low oil engine sound?
