That's so sad that a 15 year old boy passed away from not accepting a blood transfusion. He had his whole life to live and a sick, twisted cult took his life. So tragic and so sad. Jehovahs wittnesses and Mormons have many false teachings.
@worldhistory2011 I notice you like to make comments but you never really actually address the point made in the video. I understand why... but you do realize that questioning jws who see your lack of answers are not impressed and it causes them to question even more. In other words, thanks for the help.
The Bible does indeed have scriptures saying, "do not eat blood." "pour in out onto the ground." However, when one gets a blood transfusion..they are not eating blood. The blood enters the veins and is not eaten by the body. It stays in the veins and sustains life. The body doesn't feed on it...just as the body doesn't feed on the lungs, eyes or kidney. This clear fact is lost on the witless witnesses.
That point of view is a logical fallacy, having someone else's blood does not give you their characteristics. Come on, that is something I would expect a 4 year old to ask. The watchtower used to condemn transplants for the same reason, now they have changed their policy. For example, they believed if you received the heart of a thief, you would steal...does that also mean if I have a prosthetic limb I will behave like a robot? You really need to think these things through...
If I quote an old watchtower that disagrees with your current beliefs, you will disregard it as old light, and yet you will take old testament law out of context, and hold it in higher regard than the words of Christ? Obviously, there was no blood transfusion in the days of the bible, but Christ showed clearly the value of life over law...
So you would join the Pharisees in condemning the disciples for picking from the vineyard on the Sabbath, or Jesus Christ healing on the Sabbath, will you correct Christ? Would you also condemn David for eating the show bread? It is written that the law was written for man, and not man created for the law.
didn't JC free us from the mosaic law?

Are you following Christ's example, or the words of the watchtower?
